The Secret to Wealth

The Secret to Wealth - by Danny McDaniel

Leadership is certainly a challenge. Leadership involves daily decisions regarding risks. It is important for you to know that leaders take risks, and they are willing to live with the consequences of those risks. Diane and I have had amazing success in our Advocare business, and neither one us really believe it is because we are "super talented". But we do know that we were, and are, willing to take risks in order to advance the cause...the cause of Advocare.

One of the risks that leaders take, and it seems like it can only be caught, and not taught, is...that leaders are constantly sowing in to their people. If you are not a sower, you are not a leader. As you sow, so shall you reap. If you sow sparingly, you will reap sparingly. In fact, if you give, it will be given back unto you, pressed down, shaken together, and running over! What a deal!

But I consistently see leaders who want to grow their businesses faster than what they are growing, and they refuse to sow in to the lives of others. Whether it be a t-shirt, a book, a card, a trophy, an incentive, or any other gift...any great leader knows that whatever you sow with a grateful heart will be given back to you 30X, 60X, or 100X! The secret to wealth is to have a giving heart.

Diane and I did not have a lot of money to spare in order to sow in to others in our early Advocare business; however, we did it anyway. We sometimes would put back ALL the profit we had in to our downline distributors in order to multiply our business. And...it worked!

Recently, I have ordered over $3000 worth of Nike Dry Fit Polo Shirts for men, from Costco. That was a risk. Because of the need for high quality Advocare apparel that has not been available to us in the recent months, I stepped out and bought the clothes. Now, the embroidery will cost another $10 per shirt, which will bring the total to each shirt right around $40 of my costs per shirt. Now, I have the ability to sow Advocare dry fit shirts in to the lives of other distributors who come on board with us. I also have the ability to provide small bulk orders to our local leaders at my cost, if they have a vision bigger than themselves.

I encourage you to think out of the box! What can you do locally? A local embroider is easy to find. A local screen printer is easy to find...and our logos are readily available to all distributors in Advocare to be able to provide to a retailer. What kind of great Advocare shirts can you find at...Costco, Sam's Club, TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshalls, Nike Outlet, Under Armor Outlet, Adidas Outlet, etc., etc.?

The Time is Now! We need to get geared up! We need to sow in to our young distributors, run small incentives with our new distributors, and get the Advocare logo out in the public in order to prepare for what is on the horizon!

Be One! Be a sower! Be a giver! And discover the true secret to wealth.

Regards,

Danny McDaniel
